Default Iphone 4S All Solution in One place

iPhone 4S Rear Camera Problem solution

First let’s have a look at all the possible iPhone 4S rear camera problem that you might encounter:

    Screen goes Black.
    Hanging Problem.
    iPhone camera shutter not opening.
Camera is not taking pictures after you press camera button on screen.
This is touch screen problem, and it has nothing to do with iPhone 4S rear camera.

In the following lines you will get to know the method to fix iPhone 4S rear camera. Both Manual as well as hardware methods are mentioned in detail and in step by step method.

    Manual Method

Reset your iPhone 4S and check.
Uninstall any camera application that you installed recently, as it might have caused this problem. Uninstall and recheck.
Upgrade your iOS (Warning: Only if Hardware Method fails in correcting the camera problem).

    Hardware Method

After opening iPhone 4s back cover, remove the battery and:

Connect and Disconnect Camera. (As Camera also goes Black due to lose connection) Check after reconnecting.

Clean rear camera connector and onboard camera connector and check.
If the above method doesn’t work then reheat all the connectors and components on board of rear camera.
Connect any other Good camera in order to verify the problem, whether it is with your camera or connector

Remove and fix rear camera connector IC (Black in color), if it doesn’t work then replace it. If you don’t have any other rear camera connector IC with you then you can also just short the two on board terminals with the help of a jumper wire, it will work just fine. Make sure you don’t short the ground terminals.

    iPhone 4s Flashlight Problem Solution

    Problems and Manual Solution

Following are two of the problems that you might encounter with your iPhone flashlight:

    Flashlight remains “ON”.
Go into settings and Turn OFF Flashlight if it is ON. If that doesn’t work then restart you phone.

    Flashlight not working.
    Restart your phone and check.

    Hardware Solution

If the above method doesn’t work, then all you have to do is to go with the hardware solution:

Unplug and remove Rare camera and reinsert it (Flash is attached with Rear Camera). In most cases this thing works, but if it doesn’t then move to the next step.

Clean On board connector as well as Connector attached with rear camera and check.

Check Continuity of Flash Light Coil, continuity can be checked by removing the shield. If the coil is damaged, replace it.
If replacing coil doesn’t work for you then reheat Flashlight IC. If it’s still not working then replace it.

Remove back cover of your iPhone 4s and check Front Camera Strip (Flux Cable).

    iPhone 4s Vibrator Problem Solution

Verify the Continuity of Vibrator terminals with the help of multi-meter, if it is faulty then replace the vibrator.

Clean the vibrator terminals and check.

If the above thing doesn’t solves the problem then check both on board connection terminals for continuity with the help of a multi-meter. Connect one end of multi-meter terminal with Vibrator terminal and the other with its respective capacitor. Check both terminals one by one, if:
The Connection is open put a jumper to restore the connection
If Capacitor is damaged, replace it.

If that doesn’t solve the problem then it must be Vibrator IC issue. In order to fix that, all you have to do is to:

Reheat or Replace Network IC, this is surely going to solve your iPhone 4S vibrator problem if everything else fails
