Question Unlock any iPhone with SAM new trick released try this works or not .

According to chinese iPhone hacker Loktar_Sun, you can unlock any jailbroken iPhone with SAM. Here are some detailed step by step unlock iPhone will help you (Since it does not involve emergency numbers or IMSI spoofing it will not have any of the issues associated with SIM interposers, tested working on iOS 5.01 but should work with tethered 5.1 too).
What do you need: A jailbroken iPhone that can be activated in iTunes (that is, not officially blacklisted), a computer with the latest iTunes installed and working internet connection. You will also need to know the carrier that your iPhone is locked to.

    Video tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3Me2ZIPJBE

Step 1. Install Sam Bingner’s SAM (Subscriber Artificial Module) package. I recommend that you get it from repo.bingner.com since older versions have a different interface and may not work for this purpose.

Step 2. Enter SAM by either going through the settings menu or find the SAMPrefs icon on your springboard. You will need to have the SIM card you intend to use in your phone.

Step 3. Go to utilities and select “De-Activate iPhone”, your ActivationState under “More Information” should now be “Unactivated”

Step 4. With SAM enabled, choose “By Country and Carrier” in “Method”; find your carrier, for some carriers operating more than one Carrier ID you may need to select “SIM ID”; easy to tell since iTunes will not activate if the wrong IMSI is selected.

Step 5. Go to More Information”, copy or write down the IMSI in “SAM Details”, then tap “Spoof Real SIM to SAM”.

Step 6. Go back to the main SAM screen and change your “Method” to manual. Paste or enter the IMSI string we saved in Step 5.

Step 7. Connect your iPhone to your computer and allow iTunes to do its job (namely re-activating your phone), double click “Phone Number” parameter at the main device screen and make sure that the ICCID matches that of your SIM card. If not you need to start over from Step 1.

Step 8. Unplug your phone, close iTunes.

Step 9. Disable SAM. The source article says to uninstall SAM and delete your lockdownd folders; it’s unnecessary.

Step 10. Connect your phone to iTunes again, you should get an error saying that your phone cannot be activated. This is normal. Just close iTunes and open it again.

Step 11. You should see signal bars in a short time, congratulations.

Step 12. Push notifications may stop working after this procedure but can be easily restored with “clear push” utility in SAM followed by connecting to iTunes.

Your phone will work normally with your SIM card and that SIM card ONLY since we have tricked iTunes to think that ICCID is one of the intended carrier’s. The phone can be rebooted and connected to iTunes freely without losing the “unlock”, at least for now.

Backup Your iPhone’s Unlock Activation Ticket The Easy Way Using Redsn0w

Weekends are usually slow with regards to tech news, but those interested in unlocking their iPhones have been pleasantly surprised with the revelation that all basebands and firmware versions can be carrier unlocked – provided of course that said device is jailbroken.

As you might expect, the bingner Cydia repo facilitating the method has been almost ground to a halt by those looking for an unlock. The significance of the SAM unlock cannot be underestimated, and with users seemingly prepared to pay hundreds for a permanent solution through CutYourSim, nobody could have foreseen such a simple, effective (and free) method releasing to the public in this manner.

Indeed, basebands and firmware versions are often mitigating factors of whether a device can be unlocked, but thanks to the work of Loktar_Sun and Sam Bingner, iPhone users have been well and truly blessed today. A good day for the Cydia-based community is never complete without some intervention from the iPhone-Dev Team, though, and the team has released an update to its Redsn0w jailbreaking tool allowing users of the SAM unlock tool to back up their activation tickets for safekeeping.

As per the tutorial detailing the steps of the SAM unlock, users were required to manually backup activation tickets, but in this one-click culture, Redsn0w has made things even easier. Now at version 0.9.10b8, which is linked to at the bottom of this post, it houses the ability to backup arbitrary directories or files into a zip file on your Mac or PC.

Here’s the short, simple, three step guide to help you along the way:

Step 1: Make sure your device has the afc2 service enabled. Most jailbreaks cater to it, but if not, you can grab it from the ModMyi repository in Cydia.

Step 2: In the new Redsn0w, navigate through Extras > Even More > Backup

Step 3: That’s pretty much it. By default, Redsn0w will backup your activation records from /var/root/Library/Lockdown, and without going into too much detail, it leaves your device’s future unlock status in good stead.

The iPhone Dev Team has promised to comment on the SAM unlock, and in jailbreak terms, it’s almost like waiting for an official press release! We’ll be sure to reveal all once that info does surface, so stay tuned here at Redmond Pie!

unlock you iphone without the original Sim using SAM

    1) After installing SAM in your jailbroken device, you need to set your device in unactivated through SAM-utilities-deactivate iphone.

    2) You need to know to wich carrier is your iphone locked to. This can be done trough a websearch entering your model number on google.

    3) After discovering that your iphone is locked to a determined carrier, go to SAM again, an in the main page you need to set the activation method to by country and carrier. You look for the country, carrier and carrier ID that your iphone is originally locked to. an set it like that.

    4) Now you need to go in SAM to utilities-activate iphone. You'll notice that your iphone will respring.

    5) Now your phone is originally activated to the original carrier an country. Yeah, I know you don't want this, but this step is important for only one thing, the IMSI number. This is the key of all. Copy the IMSI number that is located in SAMprefs, you can write it down, is located in the main page an also in the more info section of SAM.

    6) After writing it, deactivate your phone again.

    7) Insert the SIM card that you need to be working in your device.

    8) With SAM enabled, go to the activation method to by country and carrier, and select the country and carrier of the SIM just recently inserted.

    9) Go back to More Information, and tap Spoof Real SIM to SAM. Next under SAM Details, delete the current IMSI number, and replace it with the one you copied earlier. Yeah, that one that you write down before.

    10) Now go to utilities in SAM, an attempt activation. the device, if you did all correctly, will respring.
NOTE: Be really sure that the IMSI number is the one of the carrier that your iphone is locked to. Because if is not, you'll get the error message that you need de original SIMID and all that stuff.

    11) After the respring go to SAM, disable it, close SAM (Not just working in the background).

    12) Connect it to itunes, it will give you the message that the SIM card is not the original.

    13) Disconect it from itunes, enable SAM again, and connect it.

    14) You'll get now in itunes an error message that the iphone cannot load this time.

    15) Check your SAM status in more info- it needs to say MISMATCHICCD.

    16) Return to the main page in SAM, enable it and enable hacktivation. Connect it to itunes. again with SAM opened.

    17) Disconnect it from itunes.

    16) Disable SAM Again (in my case, in this case, with SAM disabled, the signal bars came), close it completely, and conect it to itunes.

    18) You have now your phone activated with the SIM desired.

    19) Just for the record, with your iphone disconnected from itunes, go to sam and check in more info the state of your iphone, needs to say Activated.

    20) Close SAM, and enjoy

unlock your iPhone with the updated SAM tool with out itunes

The developer of the SAM tool has updated it to make unlocking much easier than before. In fact, it only takes a few steps in most cases.

You don’t need iTunes, you don’t need the original SIM that you device is locked to, SIM ID’s, or anything like that.

Check out our full how to inside…video tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myS1Y...ayer_embedded#!

Step 1: Install SAM via Cydia. Repo address: http://repo.bingner.com

Step 2: Insert your unofficial SIM card.

Step 3: Open SAMprefs, Go to Utilities and tap Attempt Activation.

Step 4: Your device will respring, and it should recognize your unofficial SIM card. If this doesn’t work, follow the full tutorial outlined below, and in the video.
    Troubleshooting:

If you receive a message that says: You must select the original carrier SIMID of your iPhone, or any other error message, simply perform the following:

Step 1: Remove your SIM card

Step 2: Open iFile and go to /var/root/Library. Tap edit in the upper right-hand corner, and select Lockdown, and tap the zip button to create a backup of Lockdown. Scroll to the bottom to ensure that a backup zip was created. Now delete the Lockdown folder.

Step 3: Navigate to /User/Library/Preferences and search for SAM. Delete the com.bingner.sam.plist file.

Step 4: Power down your iPhone completely, and turn it back on.

Step 5: Insert your unofficial SIM card.

Step 6: Open SAMprefs go to Utilities and tap Attempt Activation. You will receive a dialogue stating that it may take a while. Your iPhone will respring.

Step 7: You should now be on your unofficial network. i.e. T-Mobile, etc.
