    Lightbulb GPRS settings ???

    Did anyone configured China phone for GPRS, MMS ???
    I have Awang A308, N99i, ZT999. I am desperately looking for GPRS settings for Airtel and Hutch.

    Can someone help ???

    Airtel live:
    Connection Name> Airtel Live
    Data bearer>gprs
    Access point name>airtelfun.com
    User Name/Password>(leave blank)
    Authentication>Normal
    Homepage>live.airtelworld.com
    IP Address>100.1.200.99
    Connection Security>Off
    Session mode>Permanent
    Mobile Office:
    Connection Name>Mobile Office
    Access Point Name>airtelgprs.com
    Homepage>www.google.com
    IP Address>0.0.0.0
    Rest all similar to Airtel live as given above.
    Hope it helps.

    China phone has different type of configurations. its not user friendly like Nokia.

    Its better to contact with Air Tel Technical Department or directly go to Air tel care Center.

    dear,
    i used many type of china phone for gprs & internet.try following and get enjoy.
    1. go to your phones main menu.
    2. open web
    3.open data account.choose gprs and edit an account like this
    account name-airtel
    apn- airtelgprs.com
    user name-
    paasword-
    auth. type-normal and done.
    4.now return back and open wap
    5.select setting
    6.select edit profile , change profile name airtel,
    hompage-google.com
    data account-gprs-airtel
    connection type- oriented
    ip address-202.056.231.117
    security-off
    username
    paasword
    and done
    go back and activate profile all things are ok.enjoy

    My cell also needs info on port and Gateway for Airtel.

    proxy port is 9201 if you are using connection type http

    Thanks, for all ur help . I finally managed to setup GPRS in airtel and Vodaphone in china phone Awang A308, ZT999, N99i. Still looking for No. for MMS setting.
