i'm clarify this trick works on my N95
here are the steps i took in my N95-1

1.Set the date to 01/10/2007
2.install the 1.05 and register with keygen(included)
3.set pasword(anything you want) from tools->configuration
4.change the date to 4/01/2008
5.install 1.13 overwrite it

NOTE: Keep the password on, otherwise it will revert back to DEMO!

P.S. This version will never expired or ask you to get a newer version & the authentication check nag screen will be removed as well
