nice work brother but if you nice cut there as shown in pic or pullup the led leg from bord and make a jumper as shown in pic then kepad led also work if key pad led dim then short the restence beside the led .
if you parlel the lcd led then lcd both led will glow but for this you have to change the the transister with high crunt transister which you can get from 6210 board.
