    Default Xperia Ray does not wake from standby

    My xperia ray does not wake from standby by pressing the menu key or the power button. I have tried restoring but still it does not work. Repeatedly pressing power button turns it on once in a while. Removing the battery and reinserting also does not work. Its on stock OS Android 2.3.4. My friend too had the same problem and updating to latest Android version did not help too. Its out of warranty and hence before taking it to service center, any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
