Ok how would it be able to scan for the phone when the security-enabled keyguard is on. When I have to select the USB mode for the phone but I have no way of doing that because I cant unlock the phone w/o knowing the security code which I don't know. So do I have to have the keyguard unlocked to complete the process or what?

get a 4.7k ohms resistor and put it between the (-) and the (o) contact of the battery and it will force the phone into local mode and then you can reset the code with nss

The 4k7 resister put the phone into "Local Mode" and i could do nothing with it and it did not change or open the phone. It just disabled the key pad and i had to remove the battery to rest the phone and it still tells me that my sim card is invalid. What do i do now,tried NSS and DCT4 but to no success.
Any person out there with a better idea. UK wants 25 Pounds for the unlock code and the phone is not worth that much in our exchange rate.
Nokia E5 00. I Would like to open the phone for all networks, it is now stuck on T-Mobile UK and i want to use it in South Africa. I Have upgraded to the latest firmware 91.001 and changed the product code to 0595231 ZA which is for South Africa.
