blackeberry 9700 unlocking problem sir

Hello everybody.
I followed all the instructions you kindly put together to unlock che BB 9700
But ... my blackberry has a different menu and I cannot display the dialog needed to digit the MEP code.
I go to Options->Device(there is no Advanced Options)->Advanced System Settings -> SIM Card, then
I type MEPD and the menu appears, but when I type MEP2 nothing happens.
I have bharti airtel carrier.
Can you please help me?
How to switch to the default menu? The smartphone has mounted os 6.

Did you press alt key when typing in MEP2?

post full info about your problem.............. Your phone is locked?? When you type mepd which one lock&when you insert sim whats showing on display ? Or attach photos of your problem..........
