Error message "Please check settings - the attempt to login failed" appear intermitte

Wen a user launches the BlackBerry Notes or BlackBerry Tasks app, they sometimes fail to launch. Instead the warning "Please check settings" pops up. The app launches successfully if the Launch button is pressed repeatedly after.
