Hi,

I had to change a lot in the the latest NSS 0.44.

The major change is separating of Admin and User functions. All user
functions are in the Simlocks Tab, where the SL3 BF functions are moved to
the Tools menu. I hope this will save some confusion for users

Now detailed walkthrough:

1. Server menu:

There are the new Credit Rules and Tariffs that need to be set (if you plan
to use) before start of the server.
You can add a new rule based on MCC+MNC, Generation, Root or simlock
table hash. After adding a new rule, you can edit the price per phone for
this rule and click Save. Old rules could be deleted (except default rule).

Tariffs are just number of rules for different customers. If you sell bulk for
discounted price to some customers, you can put them on cheaper tariff.
So you can create special rules for them. All 3 possible tariffs are on all the
time if you have entered rules in them and saved.

The 'Do not allow upload of .log files button' is important to use when you
have rules enabled because:

1. Log files do not contain any phone data, so rules can't be enforced
2. Log files might not be RSA checked by the box that made them, safer
for you - saving electricity

Note: Rules can not be edited when the server is running. If you saved your
rules, on NSS restart those will be loaded

2. Account manager

The change here is that you can select a tariff when creating account.
Default is T1. You can also change tariff for customer by using the TopUp
function. Or finally, by editing the accounts.ini on the server.

3. Process Monitor

Removed the old clusters info box and expanded clients list.

4. Tools menu

Twitter Agent settings, Statistics and SL3 BF settings all implemented
in this menu. The new addition is the ability to auto start as Twitter
agent.

5. Simlocks Menu - BB5

The change here is that SL3 Operations are all in one place: Check, Submit,
Read log and Upload log.

6. SL3 Servers Menu

This menu replaces the old SL3 BF tab and just offers the list of the public
servers and saving of user account details. Also cancelling of jobs and cod
file retrieval is here, based on same user account details.

7. Settings menu

Only Settings related to Simlocks are left here, all SL3 BF stuff is moved
to Tools.

Hope you find this guide usefull, it took some time to prepare, and probably
you know how much programmers hate making user manuals. I am sorry
if those changes upset somebody who got used to old ones, i think is for
the better.

Finally - if you decide to upgrade to 0.44, make a copy of your old NSS
directory - just in case a bug (client, server, etc) so you can restore and
continue operation.
