    yes........... of course E1550 can be unlocked by CDMA workshop........... you need downgraded firmware of E1550..........

    minimum reqiured CDMA Workshop version is 2.7 (in this version u have to manually select or change COM port manually if not listed)

    CDMA Workshop higher versions are perfect...

    can cdma workshop tu unlock modem without update firmware
    i used that aha modem ini indonesia......ec150,ec156,ec167
