When you can’t recall your LG Optimus T P509 Unlock pattern, PIN, or Password:
If you logged into your Google account on the phone and failed to use the correct pattern 5 times, touch the Forgot pattern button. Then, you are required to sign in with your Google account and prompted to create a new unlock pattern.
If you haven’t created a Goole account on the phone or you forgot it, you need to perform a Hard Reset.
Caution: If you perform a Hard Reset, all user applications and user data will be deleted. Please remember to back up any important data before performing a Hard Reset.

2. Press and hold the following keys at the same time for 10 seconds: Power Key + Home Key + Down Volume Key.

WARNING: If you perform Hard Reset, all user applications and user data will be deleted. Please remember to back up any important data before performing Hard Reset.
WARNING: Take precautions when using the Unlock pattern. It is very important that you remember the unlock pattern you set. You are allowed 5 attempts to enter the Unlock pattern. If you used up all 5 opportunities, you will have to wait 30 seconds to attempt unlocking again.
Hold the volume button down, home button, and the power button all together, than like a little green droid with an exclamation mark should come up on the screen. Wait a couple of minutes and than your phone should be restarted.
