2300 display problem

one 2300 is blinking very dimly with white dim light. I have tried with different versions of firmware but to no result. Then i have heated the pcb and the set was running fine. But as soon as it got cold ( or normal temperature) the set at first started to blink brightly with all displayed menu, then it gradually went dimmer and then there is only a dim white light blinking and the phone is not working from now on.
I have repeated the heating --- it went on – all displayed – got cold – light dim – no operation.

Any idea anybody?????

Did you change the LCD????

may be lcd is faulty & just resold LCD connector with solder .
