some one says white screen in n70 is due a hardware
problem too,
damage of smps IC.

bye passing or jumbering is not a good solution for n70 some times it is ok but some cases board is heating only change the glass type ic is 100% solution

[ then why you ask abt detasheet in sche, it is clearly see where is in and out voltage.]
2: DATA SHEET OF THIS IC not awailable on net at this time.
3:LOGIC BEHIND TO MAKE JUMPER
is only way when we have that componente is not awailable that time.
so some time we give supply by jumper, same voltage from other same
voltage supply
4: OMAP GETTING OVERHEAT.
mean there is not sufficient current flow [ which was control by LM2708]
this may help you ?

Its not power management IC. Its only deal multimedia application,camera . who is saying its power management or dc-to-dc converter IC? OMAP - Open Multimedia Applications Platform.. When the LCD illuminate, When the LEDs are illuminate. How is fault in dc to dc converter,. when luminance and chrominance not work, the display cannot work. This IC deal luminance and chrominance, So N4200 is SMPS (switch mode power supply) IC LM2708h-1.35_1.05, its mange the power. OMAP does deal luminance, chrominance, and Multimedia Applications. So ur fault in SMPS IC , Which did provide the supply to OMAP IC .
