as par your reply i think in which your keypad one has been short , try to search out shorted key ,

hello,

i found simmilar problem in my nokia 5200:
upper keypad keys A, B, <, > are non-functional

A     ^      B
   < OK >
C     _      D

after analyzing rashid's image I figured that all of these keys use the same "red" connection. It would be that jumper wire or upper board is damaged, but they are OK. Furthermore, lead "matrix" on main board shows that "red" and "gray" connections reach there (there is connection between upper board "red" and main board "red"). But sadly, connecting coresponding leads on this "matrix" makes no effect..

So, all connections exist (upper board - main board), but keys do not work, and furthermore, main board "matrix" leads do not work as keys (by connecting coresponding leads).

anyone know what could be the problem?
