W380 no power hardware or soft problem ??

Hi first time user, I recently decided to get into GSM repair. Well I have here a W380 that will not turn on with power button yet it will come alive when I connect data cable and displays " connecting to pc " or something like message, it will also start charging battery. yet pc will recognize something connected on USB port assign it a drive letter "J:" it will no recognize the phone thus SEtool won´t either, even if I remove battery and replace, press " C " while connecting data cable won´t do the trick either, it will just directly go into file transfer mode.......

Is It software problem ?????
Will flashing with box revive it ???

bro i think its hardware
because ypur telling that it will also start charging battery
thats why check it for hard

check the on/off tracks.....
