Default D900 EMEI set to all zero's

    Hi All,

Help please. I recently replaced the motherboard on my D900 and I ended up with "Limited Service". The EMEI is set to all the "zero's". How do I reset the EMEI I've tried SUS 060708 and my phone isn't listed, if I select another model it reads the phone but writing the EMEI fails as unauthorised.

    Regards

Thanks, I'm probably going to sound stupid but I'm new to this. I know to flash the firmware using ONEnand and have the correct serial cable. How do I "write the eeprom and repair the EMEI". I don't recall seeing that option am I trying to use the wrong tools?

    Regards

    Hi,
Thanks for the information. The software appears to require a box to be able to use it. The boxes I've seen cost around £100 and as I'm not in the business of repairing phones just trying to fix mine it's not cost effective (I can buy a secondhand phone off ebay for £20.00). I just don't like being beaten. I assume unless someone knows differently that it can not be done with just a software utility.

    Regards
