How To Remove Certificate Error On Symbian Anna, Belle And All S60 v3
There were tens of hundreds of websites, who were offering free certificates and keys to assign your unsigned applications, but many of them were officially closed or facing law suites from different developers, more or less there are just few who actually are serious to solve this problem. Me and my team had tested many methods to sign unsigned applications and to fix the Certificate Error issue. This guide is one of the best and most effective on almost all Nokia devices. You may also like to check the guide on removing the certificate errors we published couple of days ago.
Here, we are using old antivirus technique, but this time in a different way. Actually the antivirus software has access to all directories and files either in mobile OS or in PC OS. So, we will use some tricks to make enable our Symbian phone to install any signed or unsigned application.
Please follow all steps with care and attention.
Step 1: Connect your mobile phone to PC in “Mass Storage Mode”.
Step 2: Please download .zip file from HERE. http://www.4shared.com/zip/aXWOFdaO/...ks_by_Sid.html Extract it.
Step 3: Here you will find another .zip file named “Quarantine”, extract it. It contains a directory named “Private”. Open it and copy the directory named “20024113” to memory card drive (it might be E: or F: keep it in mind that do not paste them into C: Drive).
Step 4: Install “DrWeb_AV” from the directory we have extracted in step 2. There could be some warnings, ignore them and install the trail version. Run it. Go to “Option >> Quarantine”, select all three files and restore them. Now if you want you can Remove “DrWeb_AV”.
Step 5: Install “RomPatcherPlus_Lite_signed” from the directory we have extracted in step 2. Run it. Apply all patches and enable “Add to Auto” so that it could automatically patch whenever u install a new application.
For Old Symbian Models:
For old Symbian OS you must follow the guide and after that, apply all patches even if it gives error. Use Xplore (An Application that allow exploring your mobiles files and folders except some core directories. If you don’t have it you can download Xplore HERE) http://www.4shared.com/zip/iFN7WskC/Explore_By_Sid.html to manually copy InstallServer files to system directory; “c:/sys/bin”. You can find compatible “installserver” file in the directory “InstalServers”. This directory also contains files for Symbian Anna, Symbian Belle and universal file for all Symbian S60 v3.
Enjoy…
