    friends,

    What is unlocking?

The unlocking service we offer allows you to use any network providers SIM card in your phone. Typically this involves unlock codes which are a series of numbers which can be entered into your mobile phone via the phones key pad to remove the network restriction and allow the use of other SIM cards. There are also other solutions which involve software and other ways to unlock your phone, so check that you are ordering the right solution for you.

What are the advantages of unlocking my phone?
The biggest advantage of getting your phone unlocked is choice. With your phone unlocked you can swap SIM cards at different times to get the best value of the different tariffs from the providers, you can choose which network and which tariff you want at various times.

Mobile phones which are unlocked tend to have a greater second hand value, the value of your handset could be increased. Many people will unlock their mobiles so they can use a local prepaid SIM card when in a different country instead of using the costly 'roaming' feature provided by their current network provider.

Why would I want to unlock my phone?

There are hundreds of network operators around the globe that lock their phones onto their networks. So we un-lock the SIM locks from the phone so that you can use any network you please.

Unlocking your phone will give you freedom to purchase or use a SIM card from another network in your own country or even worldwide. Unlocking your phone will give you the opportunity to change the SIM card to a local provider when abroad, allowing much cheaper calls. It will also increase the value of your phone if you sell it.

How will I know if my phone is locked?

To find out if your phone is locked, simply place a different SIM card in the phone and turn the phone on. Ensure you use a different SIM and not the SIM that the phone was supplied with. If the phone does not allow you to view the menu and displays an error message such as "SIM not valid", "Phone Restricted", "SIM not accepted" then your phone is most likely to be locked. If the phone does allow you to view the menu then the phone in unlocked

    How do I pay?
Is it safe and secure entering my card details on your website?

    How do I pay?

How to enter Nokia unlock codes?

    IMPORTANT

Unlock codes are 15 digits long.

If your unlock code contains a space in the middle there is more than one unlock code for your phone.

Enter the unlock codes one at a time, whilst following these instructions:

    1. Turn phone OFF and remove SIM card
    2. Turn phone ON and carefully enter the following code & note any messages displayed:

    #pw+CODE+1#

Note: to enter p, w and + keep pressing the * key quickly

For example if your unlock code is:

    987654321012345 0123456789012345

    You would enter:

    #pw+987654321012345+1#

If this does not work try the second code, which in this example would be :

    #pw+0123456789012345+1#

    3. Turn phone OFF and insert new SIM card you want to use

    4. Turn phone ON

Your phone should now be unlocked!

Why does nothing happen after I enter the last # in the code?
    - Try entering the code with the SIM card you want to use in the phone.

Why isn’t my 3G SIM card working?
    - 3G SIM cards definitely won’t work in old 2G phones, likewise some 2G SIM cards may not work in 3G phones, if unsure ask your network.

    What else can I check?
    - Check the SIM works in another phone & that it's definitely compatible. You could also test other SIM cards from friends or family. Don’t keep re-entering the above codes, email support your details & any messages displayed.
