Your device must be rooted to follow this guide. If you haven’t rooted your android yet then search for the root guide in this website & complete it.

1) Install root explorer or Mi-file explorer and go to System/Media/Images folder, then you will find a file named boot_logo copy – paste it to your sd card.

2) Now rename that file to boot_logo.bin (just add the .bin extension to that file name) then connect your phone to pc via USB cable & take it out from your sdcard to your computer.

3) Download the Android boot logo changer from above download section. (you have to like this post to unlock the download link.)

4) Extract the downloaded android boot logo changer on your pc.

5) Now go inside the extracted folder & double click on the file named Image Search Editor. (check pic bellow)

6) You will get a blue window with a white box, so choose the boot_logo.bin file which you imported from your phone to your computer & then click the OPEN button. (check bellow pic)

7) Select 16 colour tab from left side panel.

8) Now Click the BMP button from the Toolbar on top.

9) After that press Alt+S from your keyboard & you should get a screen like bellow, asking to set display size.

10) Now here you have to enter your android screen resolution.

11) If you have entered the correct resolution then it will show the boot logo, otherwise it will display some hazy colored lines.
12) Now take the picture which you want to set as boot logo, open it with Photoshop, re-size the image according to your screen resolution. Then save it as normal BMP image. (It must be saved in BMP format otherwise it will not work.)
13) In Image search Editor / Boot logo changer tool select Edit then choose > Replace by BMP& select the image that you have saved in BMP format in above step.
14) Click Apply
15) Now select File > Save as BIN.
16) Rename the newly saved Boot_logo.bin to only Boot_logo. (if you are not able to do this renaming on pc then first transfer it to your phone & then rename it)
17) Use Root explorer or Mi-file explorer & copy this new boot_logo to System/Media/Images folder & delete or backup the original one.
18) Reboot your phone to see the effect.
