How to get MEP number from Blackberry !

You can use BBtool.
Just connect your Blackberry set with PC & Open BB Tool ,press Read Info.
You will get Mep Code & IMEI Easily.

1 - Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card press select.
2 - While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd
3 - You should now see the five locking categories listed.
4 - While holding the SHIFT KEY, type mep2.
5 - Release the shift key.
6 - You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code (it will also state how many attempts left)
7 - Enter the code
8 - Enter Return/Enter
9 - The device should then be unlocked

Go to options>Advanced options>Sim card>hold alt and type MEP2, a box will pop up to enter the code, enter the code I gave you and press enter, should say code accepted.

Thanks but the problem is when i got in there type MEP2 for the nextel it would not popup the enter the code because nextel network listed is unknow. I got what you saying but this is a different case.

I think i found the problem, since i see the phone had Sim card i thought it is GSM but it is not. the 8350i is a Nextel network device. No CDMA. No GSM.
It is iDen only. Thanks anyway guy keep up the good work

1: Download & install the Blackberry flash file (no need instle blackberry desktop manager)

2: Delete the vendor.xml file located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

3: With battery Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer

4: Run Loader from c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader & click Next

5: Select all software you want installed.

6: Proceed to the end portion until you see the "Finish" button

7: Very IMPORTANT. do not hit the finish button, instead select the ADVANCED button.

8: Make sure both boxes are checked.
