newebie needs help for Z6

hi all,
help me with installing new skins to my Z6.
I have telnetted my phone and changed the ip address but when i give the new ip address it says error on port 23....what should be the problem fellows....is telnetting better to put a new skin or rsd lite is better...and also tell whether i need to update my firmware.if so please tell me how to do it.....

hello you can install themes on Motorokr z6 first you need to download skin the file must containing .EZX file and then download Motorola Linux theme manager then it's too simple just set your phone on modem mode then connect phone with Motorola Linux theme manager then click upload then click the file it be try it i have done on my motorokr z6 it is too simple okay
