Replacing pads on circuit boards

Unfortunately, I allowed a friend of mine to attempt a repair on my iPhone 4. While replacing the damaged battery connector he ripped off to of the pads on the circuit board. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a guide that would assist in repairing the missing/broken pads. Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated!!
