The Taptu social news reader app for iOS has been updated with iPad Retina Display support, the ability to synch across multiple devices, and more.

Taptu is a social news reader that puts all of the stuff you're into in one app. Taptu lets you add Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the content from your favorite web sites and blogs (via RSS or Twitter) and transforms them into gorgeous visual streams.

What's New In This Version:
● Taptu now fully supports the new iPad's retina display.

● For our friends in Germany, France and Spain, we now have translated Taptu in German, French and Spanish. We have also created a tailored version of the StreamStore with topics and streams that are country-specific.

● Other features available on 2.1:

1/ Synching across multiple devices: The #1 fan-requested feature is now available! Log in to Taptu using Facebook, Twitter, Linked or G Reader to synch between your different devices. As long as you are logged in, your streams and stories that you've read or bookmarked will be there for you.

2/ A significant facelift: The app has a new look and feel. We've redesigned our main page and the story pages to make discovery, navigation and sharing even simpler. You can now see the links on the stories you are reading and click on them inside the app.

3/ Create a stream for everything with a simple keyword: If you are looking for something in particular either inside a stream or in the StreamStore, you can now create a keyword-based stream. For example, just interested in "iPad" news? You can create an iPad news stream from from Taptu's technology stream or just Techcrunch, etc.

4/ Speed and performance improvements: faster and more fluid, Taptu has gotten a significant boost in speed.
