    Default 7610 rocker key problem

I have 7610 where left, right, up, down rockers do not work.

All other keys and centre button work fine.

I have replaced membrane - no difference.

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks

Thanks, I already changed out the keypad board - thats what I meant by membrane, sorry.

Do you mean change the two chips Z400 and Z401?
I'm not too sure how to do that, can you drop me a hint?
e.g. do they float off the pcb if I heat them up with my solder iron?

    You've lost me there - I haven't a clue what a brower is!
If I need special tools I'm stuck I guess.
Thanks a heap for all your help.

    Lightbulb

bro..choose the correct one for ur repairing purposes...coz there are heat blower/smd rework station which are expensive but performs alike with the ordinarily one..for start use ordinary one then u might want to get infra station with pre heater for advance repairing purposes...

That sounds like pretty good advice. However, I will just have to use whatever I can borrow for this.
Really appreciate all the good advice...
