this cell was drop down..when switch on insert sim appears on the display.

try solter sim ic or change the sim ic

replaced sim ic all ok.

but only * button not working,tried cleaning keypad connector,also tried shorting via tweezer..
rest all function is ok.

Take schematic and check the ways from * to anouser buttons
