nokia 5700 ( RM-230) flash file needed.

please provide me the link from where i can download latest firmware (flash) file for nokia 5700 xpress music phone.


please also teach me , how can i flash the mobile using my DKE-2 cable driver that i have got with nokia set.


few days before i tried to update my firmware using nokia software updater but i made mistake . i forget to charge my battery fully as a result it got off while it was installing.

now when i connect my this phone with the PC , it detects the new driver " Nokia USB ROM ..driver found.


please help me.

i am in trouble.

IS this true, there is key problem if the set has virus..

or i have a hardware problem too...

hey, this problem is not coz of phone switched off. As soon as u connnect the cable to PC, u will have 3 Options,
1. Media Player
2. PC Suite
3. Data Transfer


1. You have to select this option for playing the songs stored in the phone through PC or to pair it with direct media player like bluetooth.

2. PC suite is for all other things to do, like to connect to the internet and installing the firmware, using PC suite in computer. etc etc...

3. You have to select Data Transfer for moving files from and to the phone.

If u could not do this or the option is not appearing on the phone screen, do this,,

MENU---SETTINGS-----CONNECTIVITY----USB,
Change the USB mode to ur preference....
And change the "ASK on Connection" option to "ON."

I think this is the method, if it is wrong then please forgive me (only by senior Members)

the method you have said is right but my problem is beyond this .

i know all that you have said..
but the main problem is
while installing the update after downloading..
in middle it get turned off due to lack of charge.

and cant installl all ... file in it while updating.

now when i connect the phone it detect only Nokia Rom Driver found ...

and if i try to on my phone , it open but shows white screen for some second and get turn off.

now its like the PC without operating system.

please tell me how to install the new software in my phone using my DKE-2 data cable (mini USB)..

if u know ... please tell.
