I have a Samsung S7330. I use it for 2 and half year without any major problem. With in the lifespan it will hang one or two times. Now the phone is compleatly dead. I doubt it was a firmware problem.

I give it to service. First they said the cable is the problem. After that, they said I need to replace the whole main board. The cause they tell was, water. I don't think so. Anyway to repair it myself ? I am new to Mobile Phone servecing. I am a Diploma holder in Electronics and Communication.
