8520 freeze when enter unlock code

when i enter the code, the phone says "Code Accepted" but it hangs/ freeze, so i have to restart the phone by pulling the battery out, but still the phone is still locked, i have tried to upgrade & downgrade the os but stays the same, the phone keep saying "Code Accepted" and hangs/freezes.
