My nokia 6300 camera is not working.. (shows operation failed)

I dont know whats the problem,...
i am not a mechanic so i dont know what maybe the problem..

i am not into ic as well, so just tell me what can be maximum cost(replacement of new camera with the older damaged one)

can anyone give any idea for cost of camera of 6300..

its two days.. and i havent got my phone back,...


he told me that a camera IC is short...

what maybe the exact reasons for this?? and how much i would have to pay him considering the camera is not damaged??

ok so after four days, i got my phone back but the mechanic cannot fix it..


Since the mobile was a second hand purchase and the mechanic told me that the inside condition of the phone was drastic.. (poor)

the screen was not properly fixed and was just tied up with the screen cable..
there was no screen jacket/fixer to hold the screen inside the body..


the screws werent there, so he just gave me without screwing it up...


i purchased the phone for Rs. 1700/- and it was a 2008 model.. i know this is an unhealthy purchase...

but can i still revive the camera(which according to the mechanic is ok.. the IC he told is short)...
