Flash is used when you want to upgrade,debrand the phone fromany network branding and also when youwould like tochange languages available inthe phone!By choosing Main and FS files from SUPPORTZONE you will perform a Normal flash. Thatmeans: all user data in the phone will belost! Be sure to backup or warn yourcustomer on this issue.

HOW TO FLASH DB2000/DB2010 BASED PHONES:

2.Select proper interface (COM,UFS or USB).

From this we understand that our phone( in this case:W810) is CID:49, CERT:RED

****What we MUST know about CID:49 phones****

I.
During ANY operations with red49 phone it became unusable (dead) until you flash so-called "restoration" file or flash "main" part of phone flash.
Restoration files for most versions of red49 firmwares resides in "rest" folder of setool2 distribution.
In current versions auto REST files search and restore is implemented.
For that, you need to download REST.RAR from support area and unpack it into %setool%\rest directory. "REST file" edit must be clear for start of auto restore process.
if your unlucky and there is no restoration file for yours version of firmware, then you must fullflash phone (WITHOUT TOUCH TO GDFS AREA), just main+fsimage+complete.

II.
IF YOU EVER ENCOUNTERBROWN CID49 phone with LOCKED OTP

OTP LOCKED:1 CID:49 PAF:1 IMEI:359061000XXXXX CERT:BROWN

****NOTE! IF YOU NOT MAKE IT - YOU WILL KILL PHONE FOREVER!!!!!!!

you MUST do following:

1.Go to Settings tab, UNCHECK "revert to red"
2.Back to Semc tab, CID CHANGE=current
3.Add in firmware tab:
for K750/W700 - eroms\w700red_erom.ssw.cry
for w810/z530/k310/k510/z550 - eroms\w810_erom_red49.cry

4.Press flash. Retail EROM will be written and you can service phone as usual.
****What we MUST know about CID:49 phones****

4.Choose Proper MAIN and FS files files acording to the model.
5.Chek “Complete phone” option in Settings TAB or load original customization package* in MISC field.

*****NOTE*****
If your phone is CID36 U can check in Settings tab “Revert to RED” option,to make phone with retail color!!!!
If your phone is CID49 do not check “Revert to Red” option!!!!

6.Press FLASH button and wait software to finish operations.
