How to start:
Not obligatory but greatly helping would be, first of all,
to open GSM Cell log and turn it on to collect GSM cells information.
Log data will be useful for managing location(s) cells list;
To use GSM Navigator for performing various tasks, you need to
set up GSM Locations. Open Locations view, create location(s),
assign GSM cells and desired actions;
Open settings and customize the options;
Activate Best GSM Navigator by Joystick click;

Grouping several GSM cells into one GSM Location and operating with it;
Assigning various actions on enter and exit to/from GSM Location;

Please note: This application must be running in order to work. Use the right soft-key in Main view - "Hide" to hide the application from view (including from TaskList) - it will continue running and doing its task.

Main view

Main view offers general application menu and easy access to other application views (Locations and GSM Cell log). Any item in this view can be opened directly by joystick click.

Settings:
Autostart - allows to start application automatically upon phone switch-on;
Log data length - maximum GSM cell log time length in days. It is done to reduce the possible log size if you always keep it enabled. If cell creation date is older than the defined time length, it will be removed from the log;
Message send interval - minimum time before the next message send action. This option allows avoiding frequent message sending when you switch between nearby locations;
Location notifications - allows turning on or off the notification about location switch event;




Locations:



Each location has the following properties:
Name - assigned location name, e.g. 'Home', 'Work', 'Cinema' etc;
Cells list - each physical location can be served by one ore more GSM cells, therefore you can add all cells present in your physical location to the Location configured in our software. A specific cell can be assigned to one location only. For more advanced configuration of cells list you can use the following commands from Options menu:
Add cells - find cells in this location and add those cells to it;
Train location for... - search for cells in this location for a specified period of time and choose to add the cells found;
Add cells from log - allows adding cells from GSM cell log
Edit assigned cells - opens the list of assigned cells for further operations;
Remove cells - find cells in this location and remove those cells from cells list;
Actions on enter, Actions on exit - allows specifying actions upon entering and leaving a location. List of available actions:
Switch profile - this option can be useful when you enter e.g. 'Cinema' location so that your smartphone could automatically switch to silent profile to avoid undesirable loud ringing;
Alarm - plays a selected sound;
Send SMS, E-Mail - allows sending predefined messages to predefined recipients;
Bluetooth state - allows switching Bluetooth on or off, or changing your visibility to Hidden or Visible to all;
Switch wallpaper, theme - allows assigning a predefined image as wallpaper or switching to another theme in your smartphone;
Backlight state - allows setting the backlight state to On, Off or On if charging;
Start or close application - allows customizing a list of applications to be started or closed upon entering or leaving a location;

GSM Cell log:

This useful view allows collecting GSM cells information. To activate it, select "Enable log" command from menu (you can disable it later when all your locations are already defined). Recorded cells can be assigned to your defined locations or removed from those locations. Each cell can be renamed to hold a human readable label (e.g. 'Home1','Home2' etc), which can later be removed via Options menu.

Advanced Phone Lock is an integrated locker service which allows you to
lock any application from your smartphone. Nobody can use the locked
applications without to know the password. You can lock any important
application which stores sensitive data for you like credit card numbers,
financial data, passwords, images, sms messages or anything else important for you. The service is also able to lock the phone and keypad. When the phone is locked, you or somebody else have to enter the password in order to unlock and continue to use the phone as normally. The same password is used for any lock/unlock action in order to have an easy use.




* Applications Lock key features.


- you can select and lock as many as applications you wish.
- allows you to set the lock mode. If set on ''When shown'', the password
to unlock the application is asked every time when you or somebody else try
to use the locked application. If set on ''Use autolock'', the password to
unlock the application is asked only the first time. The password will be asked
later only after the inactivity time you have set in the settings.
- automatically closes/exits the application if you cancel to enter the
password in the lock form. This saves memory for the normal phone usage.
- able to disable the lock if charging. This helps when you drive the car
and you have plugged the phone in the car''s charger. If you plug-in the
charger and enter the password, the applications will no more be locked
as long as the charger is plugged-in. You can use the phone as normally
and you will not be disturbed by the lock service while you are driving.
When you plug-out the charger, the applications will automatically be
locked again.
- all applications lock settings can be changed (enabled/disabled).


* Phone Lock key features.


- able to lock after the phone is powered-on (lock at boot).
- you can set an autolock period after which the phone is automatically
locked (1-30 minutes).
- the phone can be locked by the long press of a key (hotkey).
You can define the hotkey long press period between 1 to 10 seconds
and choose the hotkey from a list.
- locks the phone if the case (slider or cover) is closed or opened.
- able to lock the keypad also when the phone is locked.
- disable the phone lock if charging. This works similar like for the
applications lock described above.
- all phone lock settings can be changed (enabled/disabled).

* IMPORTANT:

- When started the first time, you need to enter the default password
which is 1234. You can change the password from the main menu.
- Using Advanced Phone Lock, it is strongly recommended you lock the
''Installer'' and the ''Applications Manager'' built-in applications
in order to prevent unauthorised persons to uninstall any application
(including Advanced Phone Lock).
